Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 October 2026.
AirCloser is software, made by Air Creator, that helps businesses such as course sellers and coaches answer the people who message them on Instagram and WhatsApp. This policy explains what data AirCloser handles, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. Questions: support@aircloser.app.
Who is responsible for what
For the people who sign up and use AirCloser (a “business”), we decide how their account data is used. For the people who message or comment on a business's Instagram or WhatsApp account, we handle their data on behalf of that business and only to provide AirCloser to it. The business decides what its AI closer says and is responsible for telling its own customers how it uses their messages.
Data we collect
From businesses using AirCloser
- Name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash), or the basic Google profile if you sign in with Google.
- Workspace settings, the offers, prices, links and files you add, and the material you upload so your AI closer learns how you sell (websites, scripts, past chats).
- Billing details for your plan.
From a connected Instagram account (through Instagram Login, with your permission)
- The account's ID, username, name and profile picture.
- An access token, stored encrypted, which lets AirCloser receive and send messages and comment replies for that account.
- The messages and comments sent to the account, and the replies sent from it.
From a connected WhatsApp Business account (through Meta's Embedded Signup)
- The WhatsApp Business account ID, phone number, display name and its quality rating and messaging limits.
- An access token, stored encrypted, and the message templates you create.
About people who message or comment on a connected account
- Their Instagram user ID, username, name and profile picture, or their WhatsApp phone number and profile name.
- What they send: message text, photos, videos, voice notes, documents and comments, with the time they were sent. Files are stored privately.
- Facts they share in the conversation that the business uses to help them, such as their goal or when they want to start.
- What happens after a link is sent: whether it was opened (time, type of device and country; the IP address is stored only as a one-way hash), forms they fill in, calls they book and payments that match them.
From tools a business chooses to connect
- Payment events from Stripe, Razorpay or SamCart (amount, product, and the buyer's email or phone used to match the payment).
- Bookings from Google Calendar or Calendly, and form answers from Typeform.
- ManyChat: if you connect it, our browser extension reads your own ManyChat session (a cookie and a CSRF token) when you click Connect and sends it to AirCloser over HTTPS. We store it encrypted and use it only to read your ManyChat Live Chat history so your AI closer can learn how you sell. It is read-only: we never send messages or change anything in your ManyChat account. Imported chats are anonymised (names, emails, phone numbers and links are masked) before they inform your closer, and are never quoted to your leads. Disconnect it in Settings to delete the stored session, or remove the extension to revoke access.
We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To show a business its inbox, and to reply to its customers the way the business set up: by its AI closer or by a person on its team.
- To send the links, files and booking or payment pages the business offers, and to follow up within the time Instagram and WhatsApp allow.
- To show the business which conversations led to a click, a booking or a sale.
- To keep AirCloser secure, prevent abuse, give support and bill for the plan.
We don't sell data. We don't use it for advertising. We don't use messages or other data from Instagram or WhatsApp to train AI models. AirCloser only replies to people who message or comment on a business first; it never starts conversations with strangers.
Instagram and WhatsApp data
Data we receive through Meta's Instagram and WhatsApp APIs is used only to provide AirCloser to the business that connected the account, as described above, and in line with Meta's Platform Terms. It is not shared with anyone except the service providers below, and it is deleted when the business disconnects the account.
Who we share data with
These providers process data for us, only to run AirCloser:
- Google Cloud: Hosting of the AirCloser app and its servers (United States).
- Supabase: Database and file storage (messages, media, uploaded files).
- Anthropic, Google (Gemini) and OpenAI: AI models that write replies and read the material a business uploads. Message content is sent only to produce a reply, under API terms that don't allow training on it.
- Deepgram: Turns voice notes and videos that people send into text, so the business and its AI closer can read them.
- Resend: Sends account emails such as sign-in codes and notifications to businesses.
- Meta (Instagram and WhatsApp): Delivers the messages and comment replies a business sends.
When a business connects a payment, booking or form tool, data flows between AirCloser and that tool as described above. We may disclose data if the law requires it, and only as much as it requires.
How long we keep it
- Conversations are kept until the business deletes them, or for the period it chooses in Settings (30, 90, 180 or 365 days), after which messages and their files are deleted automatically.
- Raw notifications we receive from Meta and other tools are deleted after 30 days.
- Disconnecting an Instagram account or WhatsApp number deletes its access token and all of its conversations and messages.
- When a business asks us to close its workspace or account, we delete everything in it within 30 days.
Deleting your data and your other rights
If you use AirCloser for your business, you can, at any time and without asking us: export or delete everything about one person (open them in Contacts), set how long chats are kept (Settings → Privacy & data), and disconnect a channel. To close your workspace or account, email us and we delete it within 30 days.
If you messaged a business that uses AirCloser, you can ask that business to delete your data, or email us at support@aircloser.app with your Instagram username or WhatsApp number. We delete it within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
Through Meta. When someone removes AirCloser in their Instagram or Facebook settings, or Meta sends us a deletion request for them, we delete what we hold about them automatically: for a business, its connected account is disconnected and its token deleted; for a person who chatted with a business, their conversations and records are deleted. Meta shows a confirmation code and a page where the status can be checked.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, object to how it's used, or receive a copy. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Access tokens for Instagram, WhatsApp and other tools are encrypted at rest. We check that notifications really come from Meta and the other tools before acting on them. Each business can only see its own workspace.
Where data is stored
AirCloser runs in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and stored there.
Children
AirCloser is for businesses and is not meant for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data for our own use.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above, and we tell businesses by email before a significant change takes effect.
